They rejected her, then posted her video
The assessment for a social media role asked her to shoot an original video in one of the company’s stores. She made it. She was rejected on the first of May. Her emails and calls to the hiring manager went unanswered.
Then the company’s own account posted her video, bar for bar, rerecorded.
Everywhere else in this archive, unpaid assessment work is wasted. Here it was
used. That is the same transaction carried to its conclusion: the work was
good enough to publish and the candidate was not good enough to hire, and both
of those things were decided by the same people.
