A full meal, then a surprise AI interview
Anar Bayramov had already signed a new employment contract when he wrote up several recruitment encounters from his search. In one technical discussion, a co-founder began eating while Bayramov presented his approach: “Not a snack. A full meal.” In another process, a carefully worded invitation put him in front of an AI interviewer without warning.
One recruiter heard what had happened straight after the call. “After the interview I was telling my wife that I will keep food next to me for future interviews. If they start eating, I will eat too.”
The meal mattered because it began while Bayramov was presenting his technical approach.
The AI interview failed at disclosure. Bayramov says a well-phrased message left him suddenly facing a bot, rather than knowingly entering an automated interview.
